There are a number of ways to obtain information through queries. Your success or failure in this effort may depend greatly on how you write your query. Describe, precisely, the information you need and provide the best information you have. For example, if I need to know where John Q. Public appears in the 1860 census, I might phrase my query like this: In which state census does John Q. Public b. 7 December 1835 in Virginia, d. 4 June 1911 in Mississippi appear? Give those who might wish to do your research enough information to work with.
NEW!! Now you can post your queries directly to the new Lauderdale County MSGenWeb Forum, just click on the link below The Lauderdale County MSGenWeb Forum
or, as always, you can still post your queries
to any of the
Lauderdale County, Mississippi message boards listed below these boards
have a more general audience but may be successful for you. Even
better, post to all of them. Please
note that all are off-site links.
